The software now supports importing the latest Shimadzu LabSolutions GCMS (.gcd) files.
Configure > Adducts Library now supports adding, removing, and editing individual adducts in the library.
Template > Update Template... has new options for creation of the transform used to perform the update. These new options behave similarly to the existing options Processing > Register Image.
Compatibility: The Update peaks to matched locations when available option was previously labeled Update Template with.
A new Import Match... action has been added to the Template menu. This behaves the same as the Import Match button on the Interactive Template Matching dialog but will always initialize the template transform with a Translation and Scale transform.
A new Enforce Match Constraints option is available on the Import Template Match file browser. When enabled, the software enforces peak-specific and spectral match constraints while applying the imported matching.
Compatibility: The new option is enabled by default. To obtain the legacy import match results, disable the option.
The Correct Baseline method command now supports specifying custom settings for the step that differ from those in the configuration via the new Use Step Specific Settings option.
The Detect Blobs method command now supports specifying custom settings for the step that differ from those in the configuration via the new Use Step Specific Settings option.
When creating a new method via Method > New Method from Current Image, if baseline correction or blob detection have been performed, the Use Step Specific Settings option will now be enabled and the settings will be populated from those last used on the current image.
Compatibility: To restore the legacy behavior of Method > New Method from Current Image, switch to the Use Method Configuration after method creation.
The Use Color Map combobox on the Method Settings page of the method editor now includes a Browse... item to browse to a color map file.
The Use Color Map combobox on the Method Settings page of the method editor will now auto fill with the appropriate value when setting Set Configuration to a configuration containing a color map.
In Project, the Run > Review Images dialog now supports selecting batches.
In Project, the View Journal button on the Images node displays an improved Journal interface.
In Project, the Images details pane's Status column now indicates active only for associated images instead of all images.
In Investigator, the Explore Image toolbar on the Images View now has a reload button. Clicking the button will reload the data from all selected images, similar to the File > Reload All action.
In Investigator, the Compare Images action now has two comparison methods available in the dialog:
Compatibility: To match behavior of earlier releases, use the Compare Original option.
After transforming the template using a plugin transform, undo would display an unnecessary error dialog showing UNSUPPORTED.
At certain window sizes and image zoom scales, the Multi-Projections dialog would display a blank panel instead of the X projection.
Performing Register Image using a plugin transform, removing the plugin, and attempting to perform Register Image again would cause the Transform Type combobox to be empty. If OK was then pressed, an uncaught exception was thrown.
Workaround: Select a transform from the Transform Type combobox instead of leaving it empty.
Performing Template > Update Template... with the Matched Locations option would transform any unmatched peaks twice.
In Tools > Compare Images, the computed transform would sometimes fail silently (e.g., when there were too few alignment markers for the Natural Neighbor transform) and leave an outdated transform.
Workaround: Select a simpler transform, such as Translation, to force the transform to update.
In Project, Run > Register Images would fail with the error "The Image file could not be opened" if the project file path contained a comma.
In Project, the Run > Review or Run > Investigate Images selection dialogs did not resize correctly; selection lists did not expand, only the buttons.
In Project, the buttons on the Image node view always opened dialogs in the top-left corner of the display.
On the Reports details pane, the Batch Name and Status columns were unused and have been removed.
